The Maenam Hill trail:
Situated at a distance of 12 km from Ravangla, Maenam Hill is a hill is one of the popular places of trekking in Sikkim. Trekking tour to Maenam Hill, situated at an altitude of 10,300 feet, offers panoramic views of the great Mt. Kanchenjunga and its surrounding ranges. The trek tour to Maenam Hill starts at an altitude of 7000 feet (2133 m) from Ravangla and goes up to 10,500 feet (3200 m). Remember to take pictures of the beautiful sunrise at Kanchenjunga.
Bhaley Dunga Trekking Trail:
Bhaley Dunga is another well known trekking trail in Ravangla. The 1.5 km uphill trek leads to the legendry Bhaley Dunga, a rocky spur which juts out from the ridge top and remains suspended in the air above Yangyang village. You may complete the whole trek in one day or may stay over for a night at the summit. You can also trek to nearby villages of Borong and Yangyang or can come back by the same route to Ravangla.
Khechupelri Trekking Trail:
Khechupelri Trek is another popular trekking trail in Ravangla that includes hiking through the local villages and visit to a few monasteries. This Trek is also known as the Monastery loop Trek as it covers the visit to ten important monasteries of Sikkim.

The nearest airport to Ravangla is Bagdogra Airport (124 km away) and it takes 5 hours to cover the distance between Bagdogra and Ravangla town via the Jorethang road (road condition near Ravangla isn’t good). Cabs and Taxis are available from outside the airport.
